If there is one thing that so many of us learned from the last two or so years, it’s that life is full of opportunity. These opportunities are within our gift to grasp, we can break habits and maybe move into a space that might feel a little different for us, breathing life back into our lives just by stopping. We have learnt that taking ‘tactical breaks’ away from the day-to-day stressors of life can be useful. That if we want to, we can take back control, calm down the pace of life and nurture a sense of selfcare in our day to day being.

Dates and themes of retreat

On the 1st and 2nd October 2022, Infinity Wellness & Mindfulness will hold an on-location retreat at the Bay Trust Event Centre and Pines Calyx, pictured above. A wonderful, immersive opportunity to pause, take a tactical break in life, calm down your pace and step into selfcare for just two days. The theme of this October retreat is Mindfulness: exploring your inner creative. During the two days, we will practice mindfulness meditation together in a comfortable setting at the Calyx and explore our inner creative through various activities.

Who is this retreat for?

Anyone can attend this two-day retreat. This retreat will meet the BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches) Good Practice Guidelines.

Attendees can join for both days, 1st, and 2nd of October, or just one day of the two days.

It might be that you feel you don’t need to tap into your inner creative and that’s ok. This retreat is more than just meditation and creative activities. It’s about opening to what’s on your mind, working with experiences and emotions and looking forward to how these two days of community, insight and practice might help you to feel more supported and resourced to face into life’s challenges and difficulties no matter how big or small. These two days will also help you to identify with the joy and happiness in life and in your moment-to-moment awareness, learning to notice, pay attention and connect in a deeper way to the experiences that are offered to us.
