We are very proud that most of our business comes through word of mouth and our existing network – satisfied customers or partners who talk about what we have done with their colleagues and contacts, who then ask us to do work for them. We would rather be known by a few people for being very good at what we do than being known by lots of people who have never worked with us.
Generally, this means that a lot of our communications are with existing customers, or people we already know, and so have already told us they would like to hear what we are up to.
However, like all businesses, we do have to find new people and companies to work with, so we do have to communicate more widely. On that basis, we have a set of rules for ourselves by which we will communicate with you.
We will only communicate with you via email if:
- You are an existing or previous customer.
- We have your consent to send you an email for that specific purpose. Typically, this will be because you have filled in the contact section on our website, or because we have spoken about doing business with you. If we communicate for any other purpose we will have explained in advance what that was.
- We may occasionally communicate with you via email about something we haven’t spoken to you about in advance. If this is the case, this is because we believe that it is something, because of your role at work, or your general interest in the wellbeing sector, that you would genuinely be interested in. We also believe that emailing this to you is a less intrusive method of letting you know about this in other forms, such as calling you on the phone.
If we do send you an email about something we haven’t spoken to you about, and if you are not interested in it, there will be an “unsubscribe” option for you to say you don’t wish to receive these communications. Please use this to let us know you don’t want to receive any further similar communications; we don’t want to send you information that you are not interested in, so we will remove you from receiving that type of email again.
If you receive an email from us that doesn’t fit into these categories, we would like to know about it. Really. Because it may mean something more serious is happening, and we will investigate. We take the usage, management, and protection of data very seriously, so if you receive anything untoward from us, we would like to know so we can fix it.
